"I recently stayed at Lions Royal Hotel with my family and had a very enjoyable experience. A special thank you to all the staff, from the reception team to the cleaners and everyone else who worked hard to make our stay comfortable. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Special recognition and thanks to Aisha in the restaurant/canteen. She was particularly lovely, friendly and attentive, and her excellent service made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection of food, and one of the highlights was enjoying it with the beautiful rooftop view of the city. The swimming pool was also very nice and the children enjoyed it. My only small suggestion for improvement would be to make the pool water a little warmer, as it was quite cold. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would like to thank the entire Lions Royal Hotel team for their hospitality. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay again when visiting Istanbul. Thank you, Lions Royal Hotel!"

"Great hotel for the most part. Fantastic location with the tram stop right in front of the hotel. Staff were lovely except for the man at breakfast who shouted at me and said I hadn't paid for breakfast with my room. I had paid, he was looking at the wrong room number when he checked. He didnt apologise. Also the breakfast was not great, I expected better, I mainly just had tea and a croissant. Theres loads of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close to the hotel so you wouldnt miss much if you didnt add on breakfast. I would probably stay here again. I travelled as a solo female and felt safe in the hotel."
