Clearwater-St. Pete Beaches Hotels with Breakfast

"I loved the location and it not being a large hotel...leaves plenty of room on their private beach. I liked the layout of the room and decoration. The property appears well maintained with employees that seem to care about their work. Now what I found that I did not like and I am only saying these things because I want them to become better. The room furniture was delaminating and should be replaced. Room overall was clean; the tile floor in the room is beautiful but more attention should be taken to thoroughly clean the floor so my socks and feet do not look like I ran out on dirt(this is the one thing that bothers me a lot). Despite those small complaints I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying there again."

"Just a quick trip but enjoyed every minute. The staff was great upon arrival and lobby was welcoming. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the marina. The room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The pillows were so so. We enjoyed the pool after getting settled and then walked just over a mile to John's Pass village. It's a nice walk but you do have to walk up and over a bridge both ways. Stop and watch for dolphins on the bridge. The next morning we are at waffle house and walked to the beach. Yes, it's right across the street, but it's a long walk in loose sand. Light loads suggested. Beach was beautiful and worth it."

"Pros: Excellent position on St Pete beach. Miles of beautiful white sand and warm water. Very low waves and shallow water so excellent for kids. Not at all crowded (May 6-May 13). Helpful staff. Cons: Pools were small so got crowded and sometimes hard to find a chair to sit in (lots of pools though). Parking is $25/day, but so are all the other hotels in the area. Chairs/Umbrellas on the beach were complimentary only for rows 2 and 3, but not first row (the kids working those were great btw). Delayed check out was $20/hour past 11:00am. These are nickel and dime'ing considering the cost of the hotel itself."

"The value you get with this property is amazing. It's quite basic as far as accomodations go, but it's truly a one stop shop. The location is super convenient. Pools, beach, great food drink and entertainment plus shops are all right there. We love it!"

"no hairdryer, no microwave, no room service. no restaurant other than the tiki hut bar. otherwise a very nice place to stay, right on the beach. two pools. live music 7 days a week."

"Room was dirty, service was not helpful when you really needed it but for simple things they were helpful. When called to get room cleaned someone came just to take the trash, not mop the floors that left our feet black upon walking across the room. The rooms humidifier was full and upon entry smelt like mold. There were also snacks in our nightstand that were left from previous guests. The property is beautiful but the rooms are not. "

"Great property for a night on the beach! We had a partial ocean view room, the balcony is tiny but we weren't in our room often. The restaurants and bars on site were awesome. We were right on the beach with Coconut Charlie's bar with great food and drinks with seating on the deck or right in the beach sand! We were able to grab a drink and watch the sunset! Room was very clean and had all amenities we needed. Location was perfect, even had a great outdoor pool and easy access to beach for an ocean swim."

"Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Sunset Vista Resort. The location is beautiful and convenient, especially for anyone looking to relax near the beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere around the property was peaceful and family-friendly. The staff was generally helpful, although service could occasionally be a little slow during busy times. The amenities were enjoyable, especially the pool area and beach access. Some areas of the property could use minor updates and maintenance, but nothing that seriously affected the stay. Overall, Sunset Vista Resort offers a comfortable vacation experience with a great location and relaxing environment. I would consider staying there again.”"
