"The staff were knowledgable, spoke English ( my french is poor) so needed this. There is a supermarche next door. There was no kettle or glasses in the room, so you may want to buy bottled water. Our room of the 5th floor was warm so had the heatimg on low. The metro 5 is 5 mins walk away. The hotel and area were quiet so no traffic noise. There is a beautiful park ( parc des buttes chaumont) less than 10 mins walk away, definitely worth a visit. Also 2 mins from the parc is boulangerie milligramme. The kind where the locals queue on a saturday morning."

"The single room is really small. It’s basically a walk-in closet with a bathroom with very little space to move about. After three nights, I switched to a double room with a view of the street, which was much better but definitely would be tight for two people. They are strict with the check-out time. I asked and the owner said it would be 35euros to stay an extra hours, faulted the cleaners. The best part is the location. It’s walkable to notre dame, and the Louvre. "Great location, clean room with great amenities "

"First, the official check-in time is 2:00 PM. I arrived at the reception around 2:30 PM and was informed that my room was still not ready and that I needed to wait an additional 30 minutes. I DO NOT understand why I was required to wait more than one hour past the stated check-in time. Second, when I finally entered the room, I discovered that the toilet seat was missing. I immediately informed the receptionist and asked for it to be fixed. However, The reception told me that it could not be repaired until Sunday because it was the weekend, and I check out the next day (Sunday). I was also informed that changing rooms was not possible. Therefore, I will use toilet without toilet seats. The only compensation offered was complimentary breakfast. "

" I stayed at the hotel for three nights and noticed that the bed covers were not changed and that I was still provided with the same towel from the previous day. I went to the front desk to inquire about this m. There were three staff members present. One of them explained that the bed covers are not changed every day and attempted to clarify the hotel’s policy. However, I informed her that when I checked in, I was asked whether I wanted daily housekeeping service, and I clearly said yes. I was also told that I could request housekeeping if needed, which was explained to me at the time of check-in. During our discussion, another staff member who was standing nearby interrupted and asked me if I change my bed covers every day at home. I found this comment highly inappropriate and disrespectful. I was very angry and told her that she could not ask me such a question, as it was not acceptable to speak to a guest in that manner. I was shocked and hurt; this was the first time I had ever heard such a comment from a staff member, and I travel frequently. I understand that some hotels in France do not automatically change bed sheets every day. However, customers deserve to be treated with respect. Being asked a personal and irrelevant question was upsetting and unprofessional. I was also very disappointed that no apology was offered at the time.
