"The rooms were nice and clean, hotel staff were polite and helpful. They have a new booking system which caused a minor delay but was only an extra couple of minutes. Noise wasn't an issue, neither was parking. The only down side was only 1 lift was working, which was an issue on Sunday morning. Would happily stay again. "

"A large, comfortable and beautiful room with an immaculate bathroom, in a convenient location, for the price of a much more basic brand. Usual gripe that in a family room for 4, they only give you two of everything (cups, bath towels), and that the pub is expensive (£4.20 for a soft drink, £7 for a beer etc), so the savings are offset at dinner."

"The communication was terrible, we only got the code for the apartment access after we called the owner a few times. Even after he had picked up and said he was sending it, he still didn’t and we had to call him back again. This was all last minute. We had originally booked to stay in the bigger apartment but the owner sent a message on the app to say he had double booked us and were we happy to stay in a smaller apartment with a shared kitchen rather than a private one. "We are regular visitors to the hotel. It's always so clean and the staff are friendly. The food is lovely too!"

"Not the usual Marriott standard. Shower was dangerous as the temperature dial didn't work so I nearly scalded myself. Had to tell my kids not to use the shower. I reported it to reception and they refunded my parking charge as compensation but it was quite sufficient considering we couldn't shower properly! The mattresses were also of poor quality. Areas of the hotel were very old and needed updating. However, the rooms were clean and breakfast was decent. "

"Broken chair, headboard fell off the wall in the night landing on my head. Furniture cheap and dated. Wind whistles through gaps in the windows. Noisy especially on friday morning when the beer delivery lorry was unloading right outside"

"Das Hotel liegt mitten im Grünen und bei der Anfahrt über das Grundstück freut man sich schon auf die typisch britische, alte Hausanlage. Im Inneren des Hotels geht der äußere Flair leider etwas verloren, eher so 80er Jahre Style. Wir hatten jeder die preiswerteste Zimmer Kategorie gewählt, gute Matratzen, das Fenster ließ sich öffnen und super war auch das warme und sehr saubere Bad. "
