"Room was clean but random hairs left behind. I traveled with spouse and 8 year old child. When I asked for a towel, there was a 100 yen charge so I declined and we shared a towel. When I parked there was no explanation of the charges or how it worked. Very limited English. It’s okay that I had to pay but to call my room at 2200 to have me come down and pay was inconvenient and inconsiderate. If explained, then that could have been arranged during check-in. "It’s your very typical, small room and small bathroom that’s perfect for one or two people. Front desk staff are warm and friendly. Breakfast is very good and has quite a bit of options available. Be sure to grab a couple of pillows on the way up to your room as they only provide one pillow. I will only stay at this hotel when I visit Iwakuni. It’s perfect with ample restaurants within walking distance. So far, I’ve stayed twice and if I’m lucky enough to come back to Iwakuni, I will definitely...
