"My family & I (husband, 2 boys ages 11 & 15) stayed at the San Rafael Ecolodge for 7 nights in mid February. We had never stayed in such a place before & had an absolutely wonderful time! The dinning & common areas are all open-air yet very cozy. The food is freshly made to order & is so delicious! There is numerous wildlife to see right there at the ecolodge too! "Such a cute rustic place , away from tourist noise. Lots of greens around to please both the eyes and the soul. Breakfast option is on point , you cannot go wrong with typical breakfast ! "Excellent lodging! We had two spacious rooms, each with a private bath, that looked like new builds. Daily room cleaning. Full breakfast every morning included. Sergio is so nice and sets up any tours and transportation that you would like. Wonderful experience! I highly recommend!"

"The staff made this place extra nice. I asked to borrow their microwave on some leftovers and she even plated it nicely and gave us silverware to use. Breakfast is pretty good. I wished there was a screen on the patio door or window so I can leave it open for extra ventilation without letting bugs in. The room can get humid too. The bathroom is a nice size, but for some reason water easily splashes out of the shower and gets the floor outside of it wet."
