"We stayed here for a few nights and the only complaint is that we did not stay longer. Which is totally on us. The staff here was exceptional and we met the owner who is a local man just getting this property moving the start of this year, which is why there are so few reviews. "Stayed for 3 days in March and found the hotel and staff to be great. The bed was comfortable and the amenities (kitchenette, bathroom) were good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent. They have a lot of different choices for lunch and dinner and the servings were generous. Breakfast was also very good but we found it pricey for what you got. The staff - Alonso, Izak and William - were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others."

"The property location was great for us. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The room had dishes available, which was a nice touch. Could use a luggage stand or dresser, something to help organize your belongings. Overall had a very good experience at the Yellow Tree suites. "

"I stayed in one of the cabins in this property and it had a beautiful view of the Arenal Volcano from the balcony and the room. You could hear the birds chirping right in the morning. The property is located right off the main road but these cabins are at the back surrounded by plants. Location was very central for all day activities and 5 mins drive to town. Room was clean and breakfast was good. It had galla pinto, eggs and fruits everyday. I would stay at the property again."

"The accommodations are right next to the forest and river. We had unit 1 at the base of the resort with a short walk to the river. Unfortunately for the days were there it did rain quite heavily. There was a hot tub on the deck that we used a couple of times, which was great. "

"The location is really good and very near to the adventures and conveniently located near the downtown. Most of the tours have a pick up in this area and hence we do not have to travel far for pick-ups. The hotel had a homely comfort and family friendly as well. Depending on the weather, you can view the Arenal volcano from the pool. The staff is very friendly and even helped with first-aid. However I feel they are short-staffed and it would help if someone helps with the reception for long...
