"Nice room in a traditional pub, but it didn’t have space for a chair or even a luggage rack. You have to put your luggage on the bed to unpack and then sit on the bed to drink tea and eat the continental breakfast. The shower was good with lots of hot water. The bed and pillows weren’t great. The noise from the pub is very noticeable, keeping us awake until 1:45 am on a Friday night. This was mostly attributable to the courtyard where smokers gather and talk loudly. That area is directly under...

"An absolute gem of a find. We booked for my birthday at the end of last year, loved it so much, went back this last weekend for our anniversary. The quiet location, the lovely food, the friendly staff, all make for a really gorgeous overnight treat. Whilst last time we stayed in the four poster bed room, we opted for the balcony room this time. It was a little tired and in need of some TLC but none the less, it was a lovely stay. "

"What a perfect place to stay. I was visiting my son in Bristol as he’s in uni and wanted a little place to stay just outside of the city and this was just perfect. Gorgeous surroundings and the room its self was so lovely and clean and had everything you would need for an overnight stay. Loved the breakfast that was left and impressed they offered gluten free options ….i did take the pastries back for my husband to eat as didn’t want them to go to waste lol….i would definitely use this again...

"Perfect location if you have an early flight out of Bristol. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The restaurant left much to be desired...not great choices and food was average. The lobby and restaurant area felt institutional but the hotel had most of what you need for a short stay."

"Amazing find! Everything was perfect, room very well decorated and equipped, food in restaurant was delicious and staff were lovely, literally 10 minute drive to airport for an early morning flight and felt like my holiday had started early. Will definitely be making this a regular stop off "

"The service of the staff was excellent and car parking is free. However, the plug sockets next to the bed required moving the bedside tables, so if you want to use any electrical devices whilst in bed, you had to use the sockets across the room. The toilet positioned in the room were too close to the wall and the handles to open the windows were loose and call fall out anytime. "

The young gentleman at the reception gave us outstanding service and honoured our VIP status that we had for Radisson (as they have just changed to Majestics hotels) Restaurant/breakfast managers lovely and very attentive and nice. Only one point, there was an American lady as staff member at breakfast (we saw her one day) let’s say she didn’t seem that she was enjoying her job as much… Everything else lovely , they cleaners lovely.
