"Lovely friendly place to stay"

"Everything about this stay was perfect. Firstly the hosts were nothing short of incredible, very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful, everything you need for a couple night stay. The food was amazing, we didn’t eat anywhere else because we knew the food was always going to be to a high standard and it was delicious. The dog was welcomed by everyone. "A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room. The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower. We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. "The service of the staff was excellent and car parking is free. However, the plug sockets next to the bed required moving the bedside tables, so if you want to use any electrical devices whilst in bed, you had to use the sockets across the room. The toilet positioned in the room were too close to the wall and the handles to open the windows were loose and call fall out anytime. "

"We received a warm and friendly greeting upon our arrival, and were given a full run down of our room and the amenities. The honestly bar is a great idea and although we didn’t use it, it was good to know it was there. Breakfast was perfect, lovey, high quality produce all served by friendly staff. City centre was a 10-15 minute stroll and easily accessible. A lovely stay would definitely return. "

"The room was very clean, large, and comfortable. The people working there could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We dealt with three different gentlemen at the front desk and the lovely ladies that served our delicious breakfast and they all went out of their way to help us and make our stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Bath."
