"Unfortunately the room wasn’t clean properly, the kitchen wasn’t clean, coffee machine was dirty and we found a cockroach in there. Meriton do change a new one to us and discount our first night stay immediately, but we were disappointed for all the above."

"We had an overnight stay in a Harbour Bridge view room during Vivid. The room was fabulous with a very comfortable bed, great mini bar & huge window overlooking the Harbour. We enjoyed a full breakfast the next morning & parking at the hotel was easy and convenient. The train station was literally 2 minutes away, so very convenient for going into the city! A great stay and we will be back again!"

"We have been staying in Silkari for our annual trip to Chatswood. We got a room at Level 2 this time which is noisier and more light pollution. Other than that, it is still good as usual from cleanliness of room to service staff. Location is convenient with shops nearby and parking is a breeze. Won't hesitate to stay here again. Just hope that we won't get a low floor noisy room next time."

"I pulled back the sheets on the bed to find the top sheet had what looked like blood stains. Either the sheets had not been changed from a previous guest or the stained sheet had been purposely put on the bed. I requested the sheets be replaced and they were with very worn sheets that had holes. Only a very thin blanket was on the bed. I requested an extra blanket but never received one. When I went to hang my clothes in the closet there wasn’t any coat hangers but there was a pair of men’s underpants hanging on the rail. The desk chair in the room was heavily stained and the toiletries holder in the shower was broken and rusty."
