We left our luggage pre check in so that we could explore Zermatt, and by the time we got back our room was ready (before the checkin time) and our luggage had already been delivered to our room. "This property is wonderful! Staff is wonderful! No air conditioning in summer. Directions from Expedia from train station to the hotel is NOT correct if you plan on walking from train station to hotel. My advice… call the hotel and have them shuttle you from train station to hotel. It’s a free shuttle to and from hotel. Wonderful stay! Absolutely incredible view of the Matterhorn. "

"My room has a balcony that is facing Matterhorn. It is spacious and it looks three times better from the picture. It also has a lift/elevator if it helps. Overall it is a great place to stay. Also it is 15-16 mins walk from the train, a little climb to the hill but for me who is not that athletic i can still manage A little downside was, when I first enter the room, and check the toilet there were f*c*s stains inside the toilet bowl. Good to have some double check for the housekeeping team"
