"This was my first trip ever to Asia. I wasn't sure if I would encounter enough staff that spoke some English...This hotel's staff did not disappoint. Not only did they go above and beyond to provide me comfort, safety, and other extras, as I was residing there for a short time, while I coordinated bringing back an ill friend to Canada...Everyone was so sweet, accomodating, caring, professional yet very friendly...I felt like family!
The gorgeous fresh flowers that were found everywhere, the lovely warm swimming pool, the clean lovely rooms, which were quite quiet, the shuttle service, the consierge, the food at the breakfast buffet was out of this world....not just a waffle maker or a toaster...but full buffet including amazing salad bar, asian noodles, stir fries, custom omellettes, fresh pastries, western as well as asian food, lovely coffee and teas, and fresh fruit juices with an amazing variety of choice for everyone...Dinner is a la carte, but the menu is extensive.....The gym is lovely, and well maintained. I would return in a heartbeat and have already sent a friend their, as part of their travels... it is about 15 minutes from the Airport at Bangkok..so, the shuttle picks you up ,or takes you to your flights, easily.
It provides a wonderful stoppling place to use as a base, if you are just wanting to rest up before heading to other locations in Thailand...Try Ancient City...which is a short taxi ride away to see old temples....well worth it...."
