"The property is dated but clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Country Motor Lodge which is on a hill above the main property. For the young a short walk to the restaurant, for us a car ride. The restaurant was excellent. We were there to attend a 70th High School reunion lunch. The food and attention to detail was excellent."

"My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Groton Inn. After an unfortunate experience at another hotel nearby, the Groton Inn truly saved the day, and I’m so glad we found it. The property is absolutely beautiful. The landscaping is immaculate, the architecture is charming, and the entire atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and welcoming. "I didn’t get the room that I paid for and then after I mentioned that I was in the wrong room for some reason every time I left my room and I came back to the hotel. My key will not open the door so I went three stories up in an elevator my key didn’t work and then I had to go back down to reset my key, but I think that was done because I complained about I did not get the room I paid for"

"The property was well kept and that was impressive; however, the outlet in Room 204 near the closet did not work. The waste basket was left full for the two days we were in the room. The maid service came to our room and said she did not speak English but would return with her cell phone to translate. The maid service did not return with her cell phone to translate. For two days, we looked at a waste basket that needed to be empty."

"Wonderful front desk staff. We couldn't arrive until way past check in but Mr. Ravene stayed and waited for us which was a Godsend. Room was clean and comfortable. Especially love the location right next to a little breakfast spot that you could walk to within 2 minutes but their continental breakfast was also good. Will definitely stay again!"
