"The hotel has amazing architectural details ( carved wood trim around the doors and windows) and was being decorated for Christmas when we were there. The people are warm and friendly. But our room was very small. Two people and suitcases barely fit. But we were looking for a place to sleep and the bed was comfortable. If you like quirky and friendly this is a great choice. If you're not flexible, this might not be the right place."

"I absolutely love staying here! It's clean and updated. Everyone is so friendly, I feel like I am staying with family. I feel very secure staying here as a solo traveler. The only downside is no coffee pot in the room. "

"Breakfast was great. Amenities were great. Close to bars and restaurants. Free parking. Only complaint is the loud crowd outside on the weekend. We were on the first floor and our window was right by the sidewalk where there were some very inebriated individuals yelling for what seemed like good hour at 1:30 am. "
