"This B&B is a 'renovated to its 'historic early 1900's period' house including wallpapers and furniture. It's very tastefully decorated. The Chicago room was very spacious with large TV, a writing/workplace desk, and a 2 seated table for enjoying coffee, snacks, or just reading. There was great attention to 'detail'. The only downside I would consider is parking. Space is available for 3 cars but there are 5 rooms potentially rented. The additional free parking on Elm and Hill...

"Our access code to get in the door was not sent so we had to call and wait for 25 mins before he heard anything. Outside areas needed to be cleaned up. We could not sit outside at the table by the arbor to enjoy the beautiful morning with our coffee which would have been nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen and common area was nice with plenty of snacks, food and drinks. "

"It was amazing! This place is a hidden gem! I met a really nice couple there, they live 45 min away and never knew this place exists, so for them it was a short drive getaway. For me it was just perfect Mother’s Day gift to myself:) historical place, tastefully decorated to preserve the time when it was build, very quiet and green streets around. Very tasty breakfast ( the baked peach with cinnamon was just something!!!), I took it outside! Very nice owners, everything was more than I expected!...

"Our stay here at Villa DeWolff was absolutely amazing. From being greeted at the door by our host and the butler , to the beautiful room and suite to the historic b&b to the wonderful breakfast . Everything was 5 star service ! The owner , Jethro is the perfect host and historian of the mansion and magnificent history of it hometown of Jacksonville, IL. We are already planning for our next trip home to see my family there , and we will be staying here. "

"I had a great stay. The house is still being renovated. What they have completed is beautiful. I walked to town for dinner and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. It is definitely a unique stay. I will definitely stay again when I am back in the area."
