"Hotel was beautiful and situated in the heart of old town Cascais with access to small boutiques and all the restaurants you can possibly imagine. We spent a few nights here after Lisbon which was only a 40 min train ride (7 min walk to hotel Baia). We took full advantage of all Cascais had to offer, all conveniently located from hotel Baia - we visited multiple beaches (including the one outside the hotel), swam at the rooftop pool, biked alongside the coast, visiting Boca do Inferno...

"We just loved our stay at Chalet Ficalho! The building, grounds and decor all radiated old-world charm. The walled property nestled in a neighborhood felt like a private sanctuary.
The staff are attentive, professional and accommodating. Everything here is just so pleasant, from the delightful breakfast on the patio to the private outdoor pool. Private parking is a bonus!"

"I was so disappointed the type of room we got
The room we were given was far too small. The toilet was just one step away from the bed, and the doors would hit each other when opened. The air conditioning broke down for an entire night, and it was a real nightmare because we couldn't sleep. I strongly disagree with the way these rooms are presented, especially considering the very high price they charge."

"Great price and walking location. Did not realize this was a hostel. We had our own bathroom, but no shampoo, conditioner and towels were very worn out. They had one parking spot we could use. "
