"It was our second stay here. The apartment had everything I needed, and the cleaning staff was helpful when I needed fresh towels, etc. It’s not high tech like other hotels, but I like it that way. The air conditioning doesn’t work well, and the room gets uncomfortable, but I could withstand it because of good things. The front staff is easy to communicate with, and especially Luigi and another gentleman were very kind to give me the discontinued hotel soap and lotion that I really liked."

"Stayed at Haws Liboa for a week with a family of 5. It was the perfect location - easy access to the metro and to the train station. Small market across the street for easy essentials and the neighborhood was quiet. Very walkable to great restaurants. Would definitely come back and stay again."

"We had a great time staying on the houseboat at the Tagus Marina. We were warmly welcomed by staff at the front office and given a thorough tour of the boat. While not walkable to the "downtown"/historic area of Lisbon, the location of the marina was excellent, and felt clean and safe. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, including a nice grocery store. The train station and airport are within about a 15 minute drive. The boat was spacious, clean, and comfortable. "The only place in Lisbon where the service was top notch and we didn’t feel that we were scammed. The staff is very friendly and our host (Pedro) was very welcoming and went beyond to serve us. I appreciate customer centric practice of the hotel such as free drinks (wine, tea or coffee) served at the bar, walk through and recommendations of places - restaurant, city culture etc. Only quirk was that you have to make your own breakfast and the hotel would provide you with fresh breads, fruits, etc...

"This was, by far, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The walkway was ancient, rundown, and felt downright unsafe. The rooms? Beyond outdated—borderline uninhabitable. To make matters worse, the lift was old, creaky, and felt incredibly unsafe. How this hotel ever received a rating of 8.0 is beyond comprehension. It’s shocking and unacceptable that Hotel.com would allow such a misleading rating to stand. I trusted your platform to guide me toward quality stays, but this was a complete disaster. You seriously let me down this time. Immediate action is needed—both for your customers and your credibility. I’m reconsidering ever using Hotel.com again after this debacle"
