I booked a twin room (that also said queen bed on the booking) and was given a small double bed. When I went to request a change the reception was already closed. The bathroom is so small and only a small amount of water comes from the shower.

Our reception closes mid-evening, but there are staff on duty downstairs 24/7 who would have been able to move you to a larger superior room. The economy rooms, such as the one you booked, are compact and designed for the budget traveller.

This hotel too old noyvworth your money look elsewhere. Very dark and quite along the street very scary you can't go out. No restaurant within this hotel.

Our restaurant has been closed since the pandemic, although there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Our location is normally a key attraction, being in the heart of the city between mid-town and down-town. There is nothing scary about our location.

Only good for the Sinulog !
Some days the staff are friendly, and some days they are lazy and unhelpful. Cleanliness is a serious issue at the cafeteria as rats and cockroaches were seen. In my room, the lights, TV and air-conditioning worked well. But in other rooms of my friends, the drain was clogged up and required "plunging". The hotel has a strange policy that outside food cannot be consumed in its premises. Why cannot I bring a beer purchased elsewhere to drink in my room, just because you sell it in your cafeteria? The only real selling point is that this hotel is walking distance to the Stadium for watching the Sinulog Grand Parade.

Sir. Thank you for your review. I am surprised to read your comments about the cafeteria as I am there every day, and have never seen this - but I will arrange a thorough inspection and any issues found will be dealt with immediately. Regarding our policy on food / drink from outside, just to clarify please (1) guests may bring food items such as biscuits, fruit etc to their rooms, but in the case of take away food eg burgers / pizzas etc, we request, for hygiene reasons, that these are consumed in our 2/F cafeteria area (2) in the case of drink, as long as it is in a can it may be taken to your room - but for glass bottles, we request (for safety reasons) that such drinks be consumed in the cafeteria. Thanks.

Comfortable rooms & Excellent staff
The rooms at Honey Hunt are quite modern and very comfortable, especially the beds. They even provide a real comforter instead of just a thin sheet for a blanket, which makes sleeping even more cozy, esp. when you have the AC on. Our room was on the 6th floor so it was helpful that they had a lift / elevator. There’s a TV in the room with lots of channels, which is great when you just want to relax in your room for a day. They have a restaurant downstairs that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a pretty good menu selection, all for a reasonable price. There’s a convenience store downstairs as a well as a café. Actually, along the street where this pension house is located, there are several eateries, cafés, a 7-11 convenience store, laundry shop, barber shop / salon, all within walking distance, which is absolutely convenient. The South Bus terminal is a 5-10min taxi ride way and the v-hire terminal is also nearby. A big plus is that all the staff here are super friendly so I ended up chatting quite a bit with the receptionist, the kitchen staff and the guard. They were all very helpful and easy to talk to.

1. Chose this hotel for its location. 2. Room door leaf very hard to close/open. 3. They will charge you for a water-based stain for its towels

Sir, thank you for your comments which are noted. On your last point, it is indeed our policy to charge a small extra amount where linen or towels are soiled over and above what one would expect from normal use. This is to cover the cost to us of the extra cleaning. Thanks. HHH

Room is comfortable and relaxing. You cant bring foods inside the room. The guard and the front desk reprimanded us from bringing take-outs from fastfood to our room. They advice us to eat our food in the lobby or receiving area.

Sir, Thank you for your feedback, and I am glad you found the room agreeable. One of our "house rules" (a copy of which is in every room) is that food from outside must be consumed in our 2F cafeteria area, and not in the room itself - for reasons of hygiene. Thank you HHH

Mam - I am sorry to read your comment, since you were a repeat guest. There was no extra charge for you, as you had booked and paid for a family room, and you were travelling with your 2 children which was fine. Sometimes we have issues where guests, when they pre-book and pre-pay, declare the age of their child as infant, but on arrival the child is much older and needs own bed (our policy is that children of 6/under not requiring own bed are free). However, in your case this was not an issue, thus there was no extra charge levied on you and I am therefore surprised by your comment. Thanks.

立地が良い
サンペドロ要塞やマゼランクロスに近くてロケーションが良い。コンビニや飲食店も周辺にある。 値段の割に快適だった。6階の部屋で眺めも良かった。シャワールームがとても狭かったのが残念。

Zimmer entsprach nicht der Anzeige
Zimmer ohne Fenster (entgegen den Bildern in der Anzeige), mehrere Kakerlaken im Zimmer und im Bad, Ablauf von Waschbecken defekt, gebuchtes "Zweibettzimmer" stellte sich als Zimmer "good for 2" heraus, wir mussten also noch einen Aufschlag für ein Zimmer mit zwei separaten Betten bezahlen.

Sir. Thank you for your helpful feedback. I will take up some of the issues raised with our housekeeping staff. With regard to the way that the bed configuration in our standard twin room (which has a Queen sized bed) is displayed on the booking site you used, I have already taken up this matter with Expedia and the confusion on the booking site has now been rectified. In fact, as I showed you, the booking notification we had received from Expedia (in English) clearly stated that you wanted a double bed, and it was only on your arrival that we understood your desire for separate beds. We were then able to switch you to one of our "good for 3" rooms at a small premium. Thanks. HHH
