"The staff were amazing. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. Nice, pleasant and safe neighborhood.
But breakfast was very disappointing. Either a very expensive large buffet; too much if you're not a breafast person, or the Luqa cafe. Which had limited and small portions, totally fine, but delivery took 20-25 minutes and food was cold, four mornings in a row!!"

"It was a mixed bag - mostly positives, but with a couple of inexcusable negatives.
Pros:
The hotel is new, nice interior decor and amenities (small but well equipped gym, narrow swimming pool but with sauna/hot tub, nicely done, laundry room in basement with free use of washer/dryer, underground carpark - a rarity in Cambridge (though at a fee), apartment style rooms with kitchen including pots/pans/plates/cutlery/microwave etc etc, decent bed and bathroom). Staff at front desk were great....

"The Hotel overall is nice. It's 10-12 minutes from thr city centre and King's College.
Unfortunately, the Hotel is under construction and the dining area was closed off. Breakfast is decent, but limited compared to something like the St. Ermins in Westchester District, London."

"The room was great with a good view of the river and lawn area. Plenty of space in the room. The leisure facilities are very good and the staff there were super-helpful.
The bar was so-so, waited a while to get served and then the wine I wanted was only available by the bottle and not the glass.
30GBP a day for parking felt a bit steep!"

"This was a great place to stay! My wife and I loved it! It is clean, quiet and the breakfast is delicious. Guido and Maria are so helpful and it was always nice talking to them in the morning. Guido had great suggestions on things to do in Cambridge and was very knowledgeable when it came to what time we should depart to get to the train station or leave to get to the airport.
There is onsite parking and Guido provides very good instructions on where to enter and where to park.
We would love...

"We were greeted by Noah and he served us breakfast each morning and made our stay more pleasant with his cheerfulness. We slept over the Pub and surprisingly had a great nights sleep for all three nights! We were in walking distance of market square and city shopping! Parks close by and Cam river. Enjoyed our stay!"

"This location was excellent. However, it was the wrong type of hotel for my wife, my baby and I. Too many stairs. Also, I needed to leave earlier and so couldn't take full advantage of the breakfast.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Good hotel. Not right for US."

"Wifi did not work in rooms and while one staff member did try to help by accessing other networks these were intermittent. This issue was not fixed the whole weekend.
Other issues included:
- stains on carpet in room
- Room service trays with food remains dumped by lift and staff walking past and doing nothing about it
- Extremely unfriendly bar staff
A pity as location is good and it used to be a pleasant place to stay - but the issues and general offering mean the price is not worth paying....
