"I asked at checkin for resources about wine tours etc., I was told to go to the town square to find out information on my own. The bathroom was extremely old and extremely small. The shower tap would not move, it was cold for the first 5 mins then scolding hot. No other options to move it. No AC No screens on windows. Not a great experience for a 3 star. "

"The minute I/we walked in, we were in awe. Very bright and well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. The view into the garden was breathtaking. The staff, were all genuinely friendly, thoughtful and helpful. The breakfast buffet was perfect, and always plentiful. Endless cups of beverages. The bartenders, in the evening, were helpful to provide the relaxation that came in the favorite drink. The location of Hotel Orto Dell Medici is conveniently out of heavy tourist traffic but close to attractions: San Marcos Museum, The Accademia Gallery - home of the statue of David, and more."
