"The hotel is a beautiful ancient building in a very pretty Tuscan hill top town. The views from the terrace where you can have breakfast/dinner are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants in the beautiful old street the hotel fronts onto, so going out to eat was a breeze. The hotel has its own parking. Towels for the pool are provided. "

So many places we visited were overly crowded & this location was perfectly situated in Tuscany between Siena, San Gimignano, and other destinations while providing a refuge from the crowds. Castellina in Chianti is small, but it has several great restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. "It was a glorious place. So quaint, clean and rustic. Very relaxing and peaceful stay. Friendly team members and excellent wine. We met some friendly people on the wine tour.
