"The breakfast each morning was fantastic. We did travel in the middle of the summer during a heat wave, so despite an air conditioner in the room, our room was incredibly hot and humid. After we had too many hot nights with an air conditioner not keeping up, we complained and were moved without an issue to one of the coldest rooms in the property. They even moved our luggage. "Great stay, location, well maintained and had really good A/C especially in this heat wave, we were on the the 4th floor which is the highest floor but the A/C still worked really well, although the hallways were much cooloer I guess since they didn’t have windows. "Excellent hotel in excellent location in quiet neghborhood but with a lot of good inexpensive restaurants (compare to U.S,). What is important close to small canals so you carry luggage from water taxi less than 100 meters, as there are no cars in Venice. Good breakfast, there is a small food supermarket selling food, water, wines on the same square as hotel less than 100m. Rialto Bridge 10 min walk, St Mark square 15 min walk."

"We loved this hotel! We were greeted at the door by Giovanni who had us sit down immediately and brought us water and espresso. Our room was ready early and it was so charming! We were given great restaurant recommendations too. The AC was a treat, the towels were so soft, and the bed was comfortable. After checkout we were able to leave our bags until heading to the train.
