The Temple Gate hotel is a gem in Ennis, our room was very large and beautifully appointed. All of the shops and dining in the town centre were right there, very happy with our stay!

Hotel was very nice with history to it. We enjoyed the bar and the breakfast spread in the morning. Easy to park in the lot by the hotel. Our room was a bit plain, but we were visiting Cliffs of Moher and did not mind a more simple room.

Breakfast very poor. The breakfast is not freshly cooked to order. The menu as listed is not available. There was not even Irish soda bread just cheap supermarket sliced bread and a buffet breakfast. Really poor. As for the bedroom the towels were tiny. No net curtains on the windows so we had to close the curtains and turn in the lights. Hair dryer didn’t work. Basically in his hotel every expense is spared.
