"The G was a good place to stay in Galway. It is on the edge of walkable to the Latin Quarter, depending on the weather. The valet was a bit slow (only 1 on shift) but otherwise the staff was great. The various lounges are a cool touch and the breakfast was good if you don’t get too adventurous with your picks. The bed was a touch firm for my taste but overall the deluxe room was very nice and the big window looking out to the bay was excellent. Of note, GPS guidance will often default to the back of the hotel in a parking lot, there is no back entrance so make sure guidance is to the streetside driveway. Would book there again."

"We ate several times at the bar restaurant, and the food was pretty good, and the service was good as well. The breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, as the pancakes were hard and the bacon greasy. The breakfast staff was very accommodating."
