"It's an old facility in need of renovation. The windows are very thin and the traffic outside is loud. The staff is professional and the logistics were smooth. The breakfast is mediocre at best."

"Super nice hotel in downtown Monterey Bay! Loved that it was walking distance to a lot of things. Parking was either valet or self park. We did self park which is in a structure for the hotel. Next block over so easy to get to. Amenities were ok. We wished there was a refrigerator in the room. Staff were super nice and friendly. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Stayed for one night with kid and small dog. Everything was great. Impressed with the room it was a good size, kid love the fireplace and there’s even slippers and bath robes which are always a plus for me! Took one star due to breakfast selections was just ok. Other than that, we will definitely book this hotel again when we go visit Carmel/Monterey. "

"The hotel is clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. The location is great. However the spa area is very disappointing. The spa water was green and not clean. The glass wall at the perimeter of the spa deck was dirty and streaked and hard to see through. The spa staff let teenagers run around the spa taking selfies and listening to the music on their phones on speaker with no headphones and act out all over the deck with little consideration for guests. The hotel staff did not care to inhibit this behaviour at all. Disappointing for what should be a relaxing beautiful spa location with great views. "
