"Really friendly staff- made us feel very welcome. Clean modern rooms. Great breakfast. Safe parking with electric charging points if needed. Within easy walking distance of station and bus transport. Lovely shops and galleries on doorstep. Great place to stay"
"Only thing that I didn't like was the bathroom was separate to the bedroom. Very friendly staff. I have a sore wrist and so the barman carried my luggage up to my room."
"As an older property and with all the difficulties to maintain such a property I feel it has been taken care of very well , it's charming and welcoming, clean a comfortable and the food is great.
We loved our 3 nights and hope to return in the future."

Beautiful big bedroom with a large bathroom with bath and separate shower.
Clean, tidy, really comfortable bed.
Had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had for ages.
The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors are lovely, warm, friendly people.
Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we’re in the area.

"Just what the Dr ordered.Beautiful surroundings very peaceful and tranquil,very clean and cosy and well equipped hut with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.Will definitely be back."
"It was a beautiful stay, although the bathroom is really small but was manageable, was able to do the online check-in and everything was smooth, the place was quiet and offers lovely breakfast! "
"Food is excellent and beds are very comfy. It's old-fashioned in that it's a conversion of an older building, so windows are single-glazed and the doors open with actual keys. But the rooms have everything you'd expect from a professionally run establishment. Staff are all friendly and professional though you sometimes have to seek them out – hardly surprising as there are only six rooms so they can't have someone permanently on duty."
