"Outstanding lodge in a nature reserve with great facilities and friendly helpful staff. The chalet accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well equipped, and the location in the nature reserve was great. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Only stayed one night, but wish we had stayed at least one more. Having said that, it was not cheap, but good value for what was on offer."

"Room was clean, welcome bay suite had very good view, the Irish girl at the dive shop is very friendly and gave us lots of information and took us to snorkel tour, although the condition was not ideal she tried hard to find nice coral for us, and the condition is not in anyone’s control. Staff at the bar are very friendly."

"Harbourside Hotel is directly across the street from the beautiful (waterfront) esplanade, which we walked each night of our stay. Richard at the front desk was very welcoming and provided helpful dining suggestions. The breakfast buffet has a good selection of food options."

"The plumbing needs replacing/updating. Water had no pressure, taps were hard to turned off to prevent dripping and drainage was really slow so we couldn’t have an enjoyable shower…Otherwise it’s a great place to stay especially the location."

"立地が最高でした！！エスプラネードも近く、朝の散歩が気持ちよかったです。早朝に着きましたが、ラウンジを開けてくれたため、メイクや荷物の整理をすることができました。（ソファがふかふかでゆっくり休めてありがたかったです！）お部屋はきれいで快適でした。歯ブラシのアメニティはありませんでしたが、フロントに言えば持ってきてくれました。お風呂の水圧が弱かったのと、水の違いかシャンプーの違いか分かりませんが、髪を洗うとギシギシになってしまったので、日本から使い慣れたものを持ってくることをおすすめします。コインランドリーは偶数階に設置されており、洗濯・乾燥それぞれ6ドルでできます。現金（コイン）が必要ですが、フロントで快く両替してくれました。（洗剤もフロントで買えます。）1階に給水機があり、毎日水筒に水を補充できたのがありがたかったです。フロントの人はみなさん優しく丁寧で、時間によっては日本人のスタッフもいらっしゃいました。ケアンズに来るなら、ぜひまた利用したいです。ありがとうございました。"

"Modern hotel, well presented with easy access to its own eateries and the many offerings close by. Only downsides were a restricted number of car parks which meant our car was out on the street all night; and the lighting in the room is very subtle with a lack of bright lighting if you are doing make up as an example. Second time we have stayed and we will go back but will need to get there early to get a car parks"

"Will stay again! The staff was so lovely and thoughtful, we stayed here to get married and they truly appreciated how special that was. The room was huge, the hot water didn’t run out like many other wedding guest accommodations did. It was really cool having an outdoor kitchen and being able to walk across a pond to get into your apartment was so unique. We loved it. Plus the location you can’t beat. It’s at the end of the main street so it’s not super noisy with drunk tourists but still on the...

"We had a good overnight stay, the pool was nice and pool towels provided. We ate at the adjoining restaurant, the meal was lovely! You have to pay and order at the counter which unfortunately wasn't explained when we were shown to our booked table. The rooms did have a strong wood polish smell. A gorgeous sunset view from our room, facing the main street. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be helpful, the only one was in the bathroom, but overall was a good place to stay."
