"First of all - do NOT pay in advance on Hotels.com as the owner won't accept this and will claim that he never gets money from Hotels.com. I was too tired to argue, so I paid again at hotel (though I shoved him my e-mail confirmation that all was paid for). When I then was charged from both hotel and Hotels.com I had to contact Hotels.com to get my part refunded - no assistance or action from owner's side. "¡Una joya de lugar, superó por completo nuestras expectativas! Nuestra estadía en Casa Roland estuvo súper de principio a fin. Para empezar, la habitación es un éxito rotundo: sumamente espaciosa, con una limpieza impecable y un ambiente muy agradable. Cuenta con un gran baño, refrigeradora y las camas están una delicia; nos tocó una habitación con dos camas Queen separadas y cada una viene con 4 almohadas excelentes, lo cual garantizó un descanso increíble. Además, el aire acondicionado funciona a la perfección, enfría rapidísimo y es súper silencioso. La gastronomía también destaca; como hicimos la reserva por medio de Expedia nos dieron un descuento para la cena, que dicho sea de paso estuvo deliciosa, y el desayuno de la mañana estuvo riquísimo, muy fresco y bien preparado. Por otra parte, el personal del hotel merece una mención de honor; todo el staff es extraordinariamente amable, educado y servicial. Tuvimos un inconveniente porque el cargador de carro eléctrico del hotel estaba dañado, pero se pusieron la camiseta por nosotros y muy amablemente nos salvaron prestándonos un toma de 220V, lo cual fue una gran salvada viniendo en ruta desde Cartago. No encontramos ningún punto negativo, todo estuvo de diez. Sin duda es un lugar altamente recomendado al que definitivamente volveremos en nuestro próximo viaje. ¡Muchas gracias por la gran hospitalidad!"

"We pay for all inclusive but that was not the case we have breakfast buffet and that’s it, the bar was not open and the pools need work but is a beautiful place if you like nature and hiking this is the place the access by car is really easy and is close to the town where you can find anything"

"If you want ultimate rainforest luxury and top level service you should stay here. Not to be missed. Raft in and out via the Pacuare river and be completely enveloped by the forest and river in the middle of nowhere while having high level meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, incredible adventure programs like zip lining through the canopy and repelling down little waterfall. Seriously. 1000% The food was top tier. The service was thoughtful and personal. The staff is amazing. And they have great wifi. In the middle of nowhere. Deep jungle. The rafting is world class. I had a Linda vista villa and it was an absurd amount of space and privacy with a personal plunge pool. Come back from dinner and your lights are on, fan going and curtains drawn. Seriously, stay here. I'm coming back again someday."

"Hummingbirds, right at my doorstep! Hummingbird garden Appreciative I had been upgraded by Alamo with a 4 x 4, taking me to the top of the mountain. I am in decent shape. I preferred walking the paths at the top of the mountain having ridden to those trail heads. This includes parking at the top and walking down to the overlook platform beautiful fuse So much cooler 10 to 15° perfect hiking weather never above 70°F and contrast with my days by the coast not humid not hot Bug spray would’ve been nice part for stormed with mosquitoes on the parts not at all Enjoy the location as well. Enjoyed and appreciated many other places to eat and walk within a few minutes drive"
