This was my second visit one of the best hotels in the Savegre Valley for birders. The accommodations are excellent (including heating in the rooms & hot showers!), with the mountain-view villas being especially good for birders. A major bonus is a wonderful bird-feeding area attracting lots of hummingbirds & frugivores. The only drawback on this visit was the disappointing meals on our first evening - I hope just a reflection of temporary staffing problems. Fortunately excellent restaurants at Lauraceas and Savegre are close by.

You can easily walk to some local trails and other hotel restaurants. This hotel was a gem! We loved our room, the walls are a little thin but we only shared with one neighbor. Beds were very comfy and had lots of pillows and wall plugs. Staff were pretty friendly, our only “poor” interaction was when we showed up at 8:30 am after a morning hike and were told the breakfast ends at 9 am and made a little fuss over us arriving at 8:30. This was the best breakfast we had. the grounds were beautiful! we saw so many birds and flowers. Our only con was that we didn’t have hot water in our room the first night/morning. We don’t know if this was do to lack of solar available or if other guests used it all but we didn’t have any hot water at 9 pm or 6 am. The second day when we showered right after our hike 4 pm there was hot water. We would recommend this hotel to friends.

En general el hotel está bien pasamos una buena noche el día que llegamos en la tarde queríamos tomarnos un café pero la crema de lo que está en la habitación estaba dura y solo café expreso había para hacer, fuimos al restaurante y no habremos solo al desayuno y cena. Entonces tuvimos que buscar en lugares fuera del hotel. Y como a la 1 de la mañana habían perros dentro de la propiedad ladre y ladre

Hotel de montaña para descansar

La experiencia fue súper linda, el lugar es maravilloso, tienen jardines muy lindos y bien mantenidos. El hotel está muy bien cuidado, es acogedor, bien acondicionado e invita a descansar. El servicio es muy bueno y Diego de recepción está pendiente de lo que uno necesite. Tomamos solo el desayuno que estaba incluido y nos gustó mucho, es de buena calidad y muy buena proporción. Los únicos puntos puntos a mejorar son: 1) las habitaciones están pegadas por lo que se escucha todo y es peor en la noche donde hasta los ronquidos de la persona de al lado son fuertes y 2) no tienen calefacción sino que lo que dan es un tipo de ventilador que si funciona pero tiene una luz muy fuerte.

Mauvais souvenir

Ça restera un mauvais souvenir. Le défaut principal est le manque de chauffage dans l'hôtel. Au vu du prix payé pour les chambres c'est une honte (Plus de 110$). Les chambres ne sont équipées que d'un petit chauffage d'appoint qui peine à réchauffer la pièce quand il fait froid dehors et il faisait froid quand nous y avons séjourné. La salle de bain n'est pas chauffée, je vous laisse imaginer le plaisir quand il s'agissait de passer à la douche. La journée, il ne faut pas imaginer aller se réchauffer dans une pièce commune, le restaurant n'est pas chauffé non plus. Pour le reste, on a eu un petit déjeuner sans pain parce que la cuisine est arrivée en rupture de stock pendant le séjour, ça mais imaginer le degré de professionnalisme des personnes en charge de l'approvisionnement.

El hotel es precioso, las vistas, leo lugar y los espacios justos para descansar y conectarse con la naturaleza, pasar tiempo con la familia. Básicamente desconectarse de lo externo y conectarse con la familia. Las personas súper amables al recibir, la comida es deliciosa y con precios bastante buenos! El desayuno muy rico y las porciones suficientes. Hay opción de una caminata al una catarata del río Savedre, pero en pocos pasos del hotel puede uno verlo y disfrutar de él! Volvería sin dudarlo, más bien muchísimas gracias.
