"Everything at the hotel was excellent, from the food to the staff and all around the whole experience. The only exception was the way one hotel manager on duty handled a specific issue. We had reserved a king bed room, but because we didnt get to check in until after 9pm, they over sold the unit and gave us a double bed for the first night, which was not a big deal. The next morning we were told that check out time was 11:00 and that we had to have our stuff packed and out and that we would be without a room until after 3 which was check in, because they needed the room they gave us for incoming guests. Not that we had issue with that in itself, it was the way it was presented. Basically, it felt like even though we had purchased a room for that whole time we were there, we would essentially be homeless until they gave us a new one for several hours. Again, not a big deal, but when we asked about keeping the room until the new one was ready, they said no and of the room all together while they found us a room, rather than just telling us to keep that room and then the 1st cleaned room available would be ours. The on duty manager was zero help, had zero cares for our inconvenience that they caused, and offered no services or room credits or anything to make it better. He had absolutely no care in the world. He was a horrible experience to work through a problem that was of no fault of ours. After this issue was solved, the rest of the trip was amazing and we had a great time."
