"Very noisy hotel. Got woken up constantly by the people upstairs, at one point we got sprinkled in dust and cobwebs as the light fitting shook so much as they were crashing around. Also there was no a/c allowed in April, so the room was really hot and stuffy, and you couldn’t open the windows because then mosquitoes came in. We asked for a fan which helped. "

"Don’t stay here. The main reason we booked this hotel was for the advertised air conditioning, and when we arrived, we were told it was “off for the season.” The room was hot and stuffy, leaving us no choice but to open the windows. That might sound fine because of the canal view, but it wasn’t—mosquitoes came in all night and we were constantly bitten. So it was either suffer in the heat or get eaten alive. Either way, we barely slept and it made the trip noticeably worse. Breakfast was disappointing. The eggs and bacon were always sitting out and barely warm. The bar was also a letdown—prices were far higher than anywhere else nearby, so it wasn’t even worth using. The only positives were the location and the housekeeping staff, who were much friendlier than the front desk. Everything else fell short."

"Clean room. Staff was friendly. Location was fantastic right between Rialto Bridge and San Carlo Piazza. "

"All was good with the exception of no AC. Room was very warm. Were told to open our window, which we did, but no screens. "

"The staff are nice and helpful. There are several good Italian restaurants nearby. It’s convenient to take the water bus to everywhere."

"The room was two double beds for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. It was massive and worked really well for what we needed for a city break. The breakfast was minimal, but had all the usual continental offering with some hot elements too. The hotel had a great bar area, the whole place was really clean and the staff were very efficient. The best element for us visiting Venice was that it was right across the road from the train station which had multiple options for getting into the centre of Venice. A fantastic option for a trip around north east Italy."
