"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the Radisson Hotel.The room was clean and well maintained throughout our visit. We only requested housekeeping on two occasions, and the housekeeper who assisted us was incredibly kind, friendly, and did an excellent job.The hotel itself is beautiful, spacious, and has a lovely convention centre at the back, which adds to the overall appeal of the property. One suggestion for improvement would be the exterior maintenance. Some of the statues and landscaping around the building appear to be showing their age, and a little restoration and upkeep would make the property look even more impressive.Parking was generally available, although it did get quite busy during the evenings. One night, we noticed police officers patrolling the area. While we’re not sure if this is a regular occurrence, it actually made us feel reassured that the property is being monitored and that guest safety is taken seriously."

"When I arrived, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled because a credit card had not been provided. However, before my arrival, I had both called and sent a message confirming that I would be bringing a credit card and would pay with it at check-in. It appears there was a lack of communication between the booking agent and the hotel, as they did not have the same information. Had the hotel been fully booked that day, my room could have been given to someone else without any notice to me. Fortunately, the room had not yet been sold, so despite the cancellation, I was ultimately able to check in and receive my room. What disappointed me most was the way the situation was handled. Instead of acknowledging that the cancellation resulted from a communication failure, I was made to feel as though the hotel was doing me a favor by giving me the room. In reality, I was simply receiving the accommodation I had already reserved and was entitled to. The experience caused unnecessary stress and left me feeling that my reservation and my time were not respected. I also recommend accepting cash or debit card deposits as an alternative to credit cards. Many hotels, including those in downtown Toronto, already offer this option. Allowing reasonable cash or debit deposits would make the check-in process more accessible and convenient for guests who do not have a credit card."
