"This is a supposedly high end hotel charging an exorbitant amount of money on the basis of its riverside location but failing to deliver on the basics such as cleanliness, maintenance and managerial oversight. We arrived 18 minutes before the stated check in time of 1500; on asking if the room was ready a very loud receptionist informed me in no uncertain terms that check in was at 1500. "Centennial was a wonderful stop for a solo traveler. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and service was great. The rooms and spaces were clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a wonderful stay and close to the Cambridge station. It’s about a mile walk to the city center, which isn’t as far as it sounds. Two things to note: there is no elevator, but the staff will take your bags upstairs if you need the help. If you are someone who is...

"Such a lovely hotel with lots of history, 8 minute walk to the town. Beautiful decor and extremely friendly and helpful staff from the reception staff to the bar staff. They upgraded our room for free due to a celebration booking and could not have been more lovely. Thank you!"
