"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"We stayed as part of a larger walking group to climb Mount Snowden on our Cancer Charity fund raiser, so to find the hotel was located only 300 yards from the start of the route was a real bonus. The staff were attentive and delivered great customer service, thank you. We stayed in room 248, a twin room on the corner , a massive plus was that the windows opened, so you could get real fresh air rather than air con, it makes so much differnce.
