"We had such a wonderful experience during our stay. Thank you so much for surprising my son with a birthday cake—it truly made his day extra special. Before our arrival, I requested a room on a higher floor away from the noise, as my son loves staying on high floors, and I also asked if it would be possible to display a birthday message in the room. The hotel went above and beyond by surprising him with a birthday cake instead, which made him incredibly happy and excited. Thank you for helping...

"We had to check out after being in the room for an hour - my daughter's allergies flared up so badly due to dust and dirt in the room. We were charged the full amount of our stay - we had booked for a 4-night stay - and we accepted that we would be penalised for 1 night. However, they still charged us for the entire stay. The rooms are terribly tired; the carpets have not been cleaned, and the surfaces are very greasy and poorly cleaned. Proceed with caution..."

"My bathroom had not been cleaned properly there was literally 100’s of pubic hairs in the shower and outside of it. I was moved to another room but the floor in the bathroom looked very dirty. I think it is due to the type of tile, they need to look at different cleaning products. Having access to the gym was wonderful. The restaurant was about to get an upgrade so I look forward to seeing that. Meal was OK."

"Clean room and extremely helpful staff. We had an issue and needed to make some local calls. We didn’t have an Australian number, so the manager/owner let us use his phone. Made it extremely easy for us to make our needed calls. Thank you."

"It’s a great hotel, very comfortable and clean and the staff were excellent. The 10pm building evacuation was not fun. Upside managed to get myself out of the room from bed to street in very quick time. The signage for evacuation whilst under pressure was not easy to follow. This the only area for improvement and why I’ve given an average rating."

" one of my key card bugged a little bit and i couldn't get in the room for few minutes. the shared shower was a bit iffy to look at the ground is old , otherwise the property is very nice and old victorian features "

"The hotel itself is very old and needs to be updated. Shower is too small and not modern enough. Room lights are confusing and need to be sorted out. Noise of Fan in bathroom didn't stop all night. I wouldn't recommend staying again."
