"While the furniture and paint were newish, they were shoddy and the bathroom had stains in many locations. The shower head was very loose and pulling away from the wall. The outside of the building was strewn with trash and debris (shipping container, old furniture, carpet etc which you can see on Google earth so it's been there awhile). You can view some evidence in the defunct pool area photo. The check in clerk quickly became annoyed with me when I couldn't understand his instructions for the payment; he was downright rude. I was surprised to even have to pay more when I arrived, as I had booked and paid through Hotels.com. The outside door close to our room (that we were instructed to use) was kept unlocked for the staffs' frequent smoke breaks making us feel unsafe, especially so close to the highway. This place unfortunately, was the poorest stay we've ever experienced. Don't be fooled by the posted photos, they don't show the "lipstick on a pig" reality of this place."
