Brisbane's has a few botanic gardens, but the one at Mt Cootha is my favourite for lots of reasons: variety, resident wildlife, Japanese gardens, bonsai, a bonus planetarium...and of course, pretty flowers!!

After travelling the majority of Australia, this will always be one of my favourite spots. During my 8 months living in Brisbane, I ventured to the top of Mount Coot-tha to watch the sunrise multiple times, but this was definitely one of the most impressive.
