Another staff member arrived and politely and patiently waited until the receptionist had finished checking me in, before she spoke to the receptionist I commended both staff on that. "On arrival the hotel smelt lovely & clean. The asian gentleman with glasses at front desk was so friendly & helpful 👌 Our room was clean & tidy maybe a small biscuit on arrival to have with a cup of tea would be perfect after a long travel. "The room was worn but very clean and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. It is in a central location that is convenient for access to buses and about a 10-minute walk to the ferry and train station. There are several grocery stores nearby, plus a pharmacy and a lot of other food and shopping options. "We were greeted by on-going renovation in the lobby during our stay in mid-Nov 2024. Nothing was mentioned in the websites. Room was an odd shape layout; maybe due to the building structure. Hence, the room wasn't as spacious as I had expected of a 41m sq room. Clean room. Slight stain in the bathroom. Housekeeping every 3 days."

"Good hotel overall, good location, the breakfast buffet was phenomenal, the staff were very nice and helpful, the hotel was clean and bed was comfy. The room was a bit smaller than anticipated for the price paid and the add ons get expensive; I didn’t like the extra $25/hr for late checkout. Not sure if this hotel was good value for the money in the end."
