"Overall the stay was fine, nothing alarming. Hotel looked really nice as we entered. However, the quality and standard of rooms were below expectations of a high reviewed/ star hotel. One example being the bathroom, shower heads were not consistent in the water pressure and so caused a lot of spraying all across. "Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved. "Another great stay . Spotless rooms and facilities (we stayed in the barn annexe). Staff excellent and breakfast first class. Lots of variety and uses local produce for their meals. We ate our evening meals there as well. Will definitely go back again . "

"I stayed at the Fenwick a couple of times now travelling on business and enjoyed my stays. The rooms are very well presented and always nice a warm. Good food, especially breakfast. I think the road outside does not do the hotel any favours, but once your inside you can forget the road."

"Stayed in a pod with hot tub, great use of space and logs provided for the burner. Outside area could benefit from some small touches like solar fairy lights, dry seating cushions and maybe robes. Fabulous sleep, so tranquil, great breakfast, good selection and tasty , hot food. Swimming pool was out of use, no partial refund was offered. Overall a very pleasant stay."
