"Large attractive room with comfortable bed, well appointed but being an older building could do with some maintenance. We slept well and enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Staff are friendly, some are very laid back. Parking was easy. Internet worked well. We would stay again."

"This is a little gem to find - excellent accomadation and staff along with Quiet surroundings Food id second to none with a wide range for starters and main meal.Rooms are tastefully done with all the usual requirements and fresh milk is from a vacuum flask so its all fresh. Toilets are spotlessly clean and well laid out along with general condition is very good.Thank you and well done to all."

"Two night midweek stay for work. Location is excellent as right in the centre of Wantage, with access to local shops and restaurants. No hotel car parking, but overnight parking available in local council car park (£3/night). Room was cosy and had all facilities needed for a comfortable stay. "It was clean the room was clean and tidy bathroom was excellent. The saff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing they should add some croissants to the selection. Location was excellent for us to visit family in Wantage over all we had a lovely weekend"

"We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden.
