"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was great! New beds, bathtub and shower was also great! Since they’re renovating there were not enough space for the breakfast or break room. It was in the check in room and it was so tight. For the free breakfast they had coffee, tea, oatmeal and protein bars. They only had green apples for fruit. The bad part was when we found a cockroach and a spider."

"The room was clean and comfortable other than a weird pink stain on the carpet and the trim on the door being half way torn. The hotel was pretty quiet other than freeway noise. There was an old/musty smell when we first walked into the room, despite it looking fairly recently updated but I didn't notice the smell as much after the first little while. The lady at the checkin desk was a little abrupt with us and when we asked how to get to our room she just kind of waved at the ceiling and told us it was around the back. She also gave us no information on breakfast hours/amenities or what to do on checkout. We didn't use the pool but it appeared clean. Breakfast hours only worked with our schedule on one morning and it was a typical continental breakfast. They were out of coffee and it took so long to make it we had to leave before it was ready. There are good restaurants within a short drive. Overall, not a bad place to stay."

"It is so nice to stay so close to the beach. The hot tub was not hot enough for me and the towel services the pool seemed to end in the evening, but I’ve had that happen at fancy resorts too. There is a short cut to Encinitas blvd but be prepared for a hike. Totally worth it. Wish they had steps."

"Overall I like the location the area surrounding is great. Only knock is had I known the place was doing renovations throughout the property I probably wouldn’t have booked it but the staff was great and property was nice can’t beat it for the price."

"Property was dedicated to children everything to make your child feel special. Rooms were amazing like special treasure box, stools in the restroom. What could be better is the restaurant the service at night was horrible. We had to wait a long time and still didn’t get what we wanted. This is the time they should be very efficient as your child is tired."
