"This hotel is also a youth hostel on the ground floor, so there was lots of great energy during meals and in the common areas. Our rooms were comfortable and decorated in the style of an old school- we had a chemistry book on the wall! Delicious meals and warm hospitality as well as a location 1 minute from a great geothermal spa made this first stop on our vacation a favorite. We stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute of our time. The pool table in the basement was a favorite spot."

"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip!
