Woldnt go back in a hurry

Apartment was nicely furnished, however was unbearably hot and having no windows or air conditioning was very uncomfortable. There is a nice cooker provided although no chopping board and lack of other utensils for example 1 fork ? Although nice view from bedroom window reminded me of Ross Kemp in Afghanistan but that's just Birmingham

Excellent apartment and great location

The apartment had everything I needed. We had to call and wait for about ten minutes to be checked in as no one besides security was at the desk upon arrival. The apartment was just like the pictures. I would stay here again if I’m in the area.

The apartment Is clean and modern. I would recommend. However, the hotel it difficult to find. It would be helpful if they included the description of the building to look out for. The apartment are located in ‘The Forum’ building complex. Their deposit takes way to long to appear back in the account. Something they could work on. Despite the above, the apartment was spacious and comfortable.

We waited at the front desk for over half an hour to be checked in. As there was only 1 member of staff to do this. On arrival to the room we were not provided with enough towels and the was not big enough for 2 people.

First of all, it wasn't easy to find. The building does not say Charles Hope Apartments, it says LODER. When I realised where it was I had to wait 15 minutes for the receptionist as he was away from his desk. The girl at the desk right next to his said that she did not check in Charles Hope customers. She didn't explain what her role was. Then, when i did check in I paid for two nights' accommodation, as per booking, but was also told to pay £150 deposit on top for any damages. Hotels.com should make the deposit payment very clear when they list this business, not have it in the small print. I would not have booked this Apart-hotel if it was made clear beforehand. An extra £150 on top is a lot of money to part with and then wait 5 working days after check-out to get it back and worry about it in the meantime. I don't always have time to read the small print before I book. Then, when I explained that I would need to check out at 6am to catch a train, it was clear that reception would not be open as it says in the business's details. The security person would be at the desk if I was lucky, unless he was doing his rounds. I had to make special arrangements to hand in my key at check out. The apartment was gorgeous, very clean and comfortable but couldn't enjoy it for fear of doing anything that might risk losing the deposit and also, the corridor outside was too bare and echoed which means that noisy guests coming back at 3am woke me up and kept me awake.

The apartments are amazing, very new, clean and stylish. Only issue is the building work next door which started at 7am, but it's a developing city...

Amazing property. Lovely modern rooms and great location! The only downside is there wasn’t always someone on reception to check in etc. Also there was toothbrush and hairbrush from previous guests left in bathroom plus a melted ice cream in freezer. But other than that really clean apartment. Would defiantly recommend!!

The worst hotel in Birmingham the worst service from staff here unbelievable, accused me of smoking in a room even tho they seen me leave the building 6 to 7 times for a cigarette and they took my £150 deposit, absalutly rubbish and disgusting people who work there

My stay there felt dubious from the start, check in wasn't easy and they had not cleaned my room so I had to move to another. The security deposit is yet to be returned to me and it is impossible to reach them to find out why. Overall, felt a it like a scam. At least it was clean
