"I absolutely loved my stay at Limehouse. We stayed in the George Orwell room which was a little creepy but super cool. The staff were helpful, especially since we had to extend our stay due to the WestJet strike. Breakfast had a lot of variety and was delicious. Air con worked great, room service was great, the whole stay was great. Perfect for anyone who loves a whimsical vibe."
"I had a double bed room with a large balcony overlooking the Rotherhithe pier and across the Thames, Canary Wharf pier. It was a really nice touch having the balcony as the hotel was/is currently facing issues with their ac system not working around the hotel so I could leave my balcony door open for cool air as I slept. I did not have breakfast so I cannot speak on that. My room had bits of dirt here and there but nothing too crazy to complain to the staff about. Staff are friendly and helpful. Due to the convenience of staying right across from Canary Wharf (and it being a 2/3 minute boat ride away (free for guests staying at the A&O), I would definitely recommend staying here as I am already planning my next trip back."
"It would have been nice for more info in the room as I was not sure if there was room service. I could see a 24 hour menu which may have been for this but it only had 2 dinner items on which is not really alot for people who want room service.
It was brilliant that breakfast was served from 4 am and that we could take away some continental as we had to leave at 4 and the ease of going straight from hotel to airport under a covered walkway was excellent."
"As always we had a lovely stay. The staff are so helpful and friendly.
The hotel is clean and tidy and the food, especially the breakfast is lovely.
Just a note to say they are planning on closing at some point in the future - we were told it would be August next year so do check if you ring to book.
We hope to return again before they close. Thank you"
"Hotel is lovely but starting to look dated with damaged wood work and peeling paint.
I had the unfortunate experience as I was rudely woken in the early hours by extremely loud music ( I'm hard of hearing)"
"They were extremely accommodating and fabulous. When we realized we needed to book one more day, we just paid for an extra day and they kept us in the same room. No questions asked when we needed help with something they were super helpful. I would definitely recommend that hotel"
"The staff were very helpful and super friendly. The hotel looks modern and has a great vibe around the reception and bar but it's let down by the restaurant. We found the food a bit lacklustre, especially given the price (and the service charge!). The rooms are showing their age, although comfortable there are some finer details that can't be improved on without a bit of refurbishment. The biggest thing for us though was the inefficiency of the air conditioning (I suspect it wasn't working at all), we spent a very warm and stuffy night in the room as we felt it was too late to inform reception and we were getting up very early for a flight. Would I stay again? Yes, but have food as a bar snack and remove the service charge and make sure that the air conditioning is working."
