This was a great hotel for getting to and from the train station as well as the main tourist sights. 2 days a week there is a farmer’s market right outside the hotel. There is a lot of morning traffic and noise, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to use the earplugs they provide. It is airconditioned but is not turned on until May. It was cold outside, but the room was a little stuffy for me, so we opened the window. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, so can’t speak to that.

Very close to the main station. Easy to walk around the city from the hotel or get any transport. Room was spacious, with plenty of space for 2 suitcases. Need to be careful with the shower - at the wrong angle it can mean that water goes everywhere. Breakfast available, but we didn't try it.

Our prices are flexible, which means that the rate goes up if fewer rooms are available. We do not have botteld water in our rooms to reduce plastic waste. Great location, great staff, lovely hotel
GREAT location about a block from the train station. The city of Bern gives guests free public transportation, just download an app and get the code from the front desk. We rode up to the alpine rollercoaster and it was fabulous! The Bearplatz (sp?) is right around the corner from the hotel and there are many things to see and do. On Tuesday and Saturday mornings, they have a WONDERFUL farmer's market with anything you can imagine. Also, the entire area seems to be great for shopping. Staff could not have been more friendly. We want to move here!!!!! Book it! You'll love it!

Excellent hotel in Bern
Excellent service throughout, really great customer service, the little touches really added to our trip. We had a group of 16 stay and everyone was very happy with the accommodation.

Absolutely a perfect stay for great time in Bern. The hotel is easily walkable from the Bern Hb. We were able to wash and dry clothes following a day out in the rain, loved you home made tea and chocolate thank you for your kindness to us.

Steps away from the train station and an easy walk to anywhere in Interlaken. It's right on the water. staff is ectremely helpful. Hotel provides a free pass for local public transportation but you really don't need it.

We have used Hotel Baeren on a number of occasions as our headquarters from which to explore Bern and then Switzerland. Location is perfect, and the hotel is comfortable and well managed.

The staff was always pleasant (coffee amazing) the breakfasts great, and there was lots of help. Our room was quite clean but extremely small with multiple levels of flooring. Really pleasant outdoor space. I'd go again any time.
