"Was not very impressed with the breakfast. Not much of a selection and had to wait for bacon and eggs to be cooked at 9:30. They didn’t keep up on the buffet so it wouldn’t be empty."

"Generally, a good stay and if we were in St. John's again we would seriously consider staying at Sandman. Unfortunately, neither the pool or the gym were available. I had to ask for a rubber mat for the shower and was told mats were only provided for customers with bath tubs, which we did not have. That is a terrible policy as the shower was very slippery. "Room was spacious and clean. Continental breakfast had fresh muffins, fruit and yogurt. Seating was limited during busier times. "

"The bed was lumpy ABS the sheet was barely in the mattress. So we finished making the bed properly. There was dried up drink splashed down the wall by the main window. The sink wouldn’t drain properly, which is really annoying when you’re brushing your teeth and have to wait for the rinsing water to drain. "Janice was so friendly and helpful. When we mentioned that we were having trouble finding lobster for dinner she went out and bought a couple and cooked it for us. So nice! The room was a bit aged but quite clean. Lots of coffee available in the morning at front desk. Great location for the seafood fest that we were attending. Definitely would recommend!"
