"We loved everything about this place. So much host and then also modern. The people are so nice and supportive. The location is great. Don’t forget to stop in the local restaurant. You will be surprised about the high end food. And the local store has lots of goodies."

"O hotel é maravilhoso, tudo bem novinho. A única coisa que podemos fazer de observação é que a cama é bem baixa, e meus pais que já possuem mais idade tiveram dificuldade. Os atendentes foram os mais atenciosos possíveis.. durante o café da manhã, que é de altíssima qualidade, eles estavam sempre oferecendo algum alimento. O hotel é bem localizado na Serra, mas a “cidade” não tem estrutura para alimentação ou compras noturnas. Então se quiser jantar será no hotel ou precisa voltar para Seia."

"For context, we stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Portugal, and it was by far the best place we stayed. The design of the hotel was beautiful. Everywhere you looked, there were fantastic views of the Douro River and surrounding hills framed by massive windows. The facilities were amazing. "Esperava mais do hotel, pelo valor cobrado. Poderiam melhorar as cortinas do quarto, pois deixam passar muita claridade. O cafe da manha foi razoavel, poderia ser melhor. Para o nivel de hotel, no minimo uma cafeteira no quarto, deveria estar disponivel. Reposicao da agua de cortesia se vc fica mais de uma noite hospedada e a retirada da garrafa de agua vazia do quarto."

"This place far exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful, fancy rain shower in the bathroom, large balcony overlooking the valley. It’s not a big place, maybe 12 rooms in total, so it was very quiet. The pool was lovely, also overlooking the valley. Breakfast was included and it was a great variety. Staff are very friendly and no language barrier for English. It’s up the hill about a 15 min walk from the train station and main area of the town. I highly recommend this as a place to stay...
