"The hotel is a very old coaching inn, full of character, and very well maintained. It is well situated for both Sidmouth and the Donkey Sanctuary. The room had a lovely bed, in a fair sized room. The en-suite was very nicely appointed. Our room was facing the road so there was some traffic noise. The food was excellent and the staff were all really attentive and provided a great service. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Blue Ball Inn, Sidmouth. "

"Staff were very helpful, room spotless,everything was there including a coffee m/cn & umbrella, great breakfast choice,fruit, juice & the eggs benedict with salmon were delicious. Only drawback, parking is limited and a bit tight, but we managed, otherwise, brilliant"

"This hotel is absolutely amazing. Really attentive friendly and welcoming staff who can’t do enough for you. It’s a really nice touch for the general manager to take an interest in you and also personally ensure you are enjoying your stay. The food is exceptional and everyone is so polite. Nothing is too much trouble at this hotel. We will definitely be back."

"With two dogs, we appreciated the safe and scenic spaces to walk around. The Bark Park outdoor field, with its sandpit and climbing equipment, was brilliant. Overall, we couldn't fault anything. The restaurant/food was perfect. Thank you. 😊 "
