"The person who checked me in was so kind AND efficient. Nothing better after a long day of biking. They were also kind enough to give me early check in which was a gift after biking in the rain. I would love to come back after my first impression of her kindness, the room, and location. "
"The place was very nice and comfortable. Staff and services were great. Breakfast buffet is incredible!
Only issue I had was with safety. We had the suite with bed upstairs and bathroom downstairs. They really need to put some small motion sensor lights on the stairs. Going down in middle of the night to use the bathroom is scary. If you turn on the lights, you will wake your partner.
Hotel needs to address this before someone falls and get hurt! Other than that, the place was very nice and close to the harbor and all good stuff. Loved it!"
"We had such a great time staying here. The hotel’s exterior is obviously breathtaking and they spare no expense for the flowers and beauty as you walk up. The lobby is equally breathtaking. We stayed in 2 different rooms by choice in different sections. The history of this hotel is described on the walls from the parking garage, but it is clear as you walk through the halls. Despite its age, the hotel is beautifully done with soft, clean beds, and superior service. The pool was one of our favorite parts as well which was exceptionally clean. Definitely staying here again! Only complaint, which can’t be changed given the age of the hotel, is outside noise. Above the 4th floor and closer to parliament, we didn’t hear anything. But on the 4th floor and on the stores/restaurants side, you can hear almost all the street noise. Wouldn’t deter us from going back though. "
