"The AC in the rooms did not stay on consistently even though I specifically took it off auto . I had to open the windows because it was so humid. The floor felt wet . Shower were dirty upon arrival. Huge clump of hair on the floor. The shower floor (grout) is turning black. It's white so it looks pretty gross . And towels are white but very stained and hair in them . The only advantage of staying here is it being cheap and you're across from a 24/7 breakfast joint. I was thinking about saying something while I was there but honestly. The stay was quick so I was just happy to be out . "

"An hour before my late check out, someone kicked my door. Hard. I stopped the meeting I was in and left immediately. Staff were very friendly. One exit door had a hole above it, odd. "

"Front desk staff was super-friendly! Hotel is right on a beautiful beach. Family-friendly. Only negative is that this part of the beach has unhoused campers at night. But they were were quiet and kept to themselves. If that bothers you, ask for a 3rd floor room. Security is there all night too. "

"Room was clean and spacious, hotel staff were friendly and accommodating and pool was wonderful! The koi fish and macaws were a really awesome addition that our child loved. We ate breakfast at the restaurant once, and the food was fine, nothing to rave about. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!"

"Love the location-can’t beat being right on the best beach in San Diego. We enjoyed the courtyard and fire pits every night. Only bummer was the pool and hot tub renovation, as that is a great amenity that we didn’t have this trip. But we’ll be back!"
